Salon Art + Design, Exhibition

At Atelier FM’s return to Salon Art + Design following our inaugural appearance the previous year, we elected to not only reintroduce some key pieces from our debut collection, 'Continuous,' but also to officially unveil our latest series, 'Additions.' The fair offered a perfect stage to demonstrate how the latter was purposely designed to complement our first collection seamlessly.

The materiality and the color palette of 'Additions,' featuring the stark off-white of the parchment as well the delicacy of the hand-wrapped Australian wool sablé was brought vividly to life alongside the deep browns of our first collection and lustrous high gloss of the newest East Indian Laurel wood veneer.

For our exhibition, we were grateful to collaborate once again with our colleagues at Flover New York, who created an exquisite and yet subtle display featuring one hundred midnight calla lilies. Complementing this floral arrangement, a self-portrait painting by artist Daniel Hughes alongside a French vintage rope table lamp (c1960s) attributed to Audoux-Minet, graciously loaned from a friend’s private collection, further enhanced the presentation of our work.
